Summary:
This lecture focuses on the new wave of economic practices in the modern Islamic world, called “Islamic economy,” and overviews the unique economic philosophy behind it. Then, the lecture describes how the Islamic economy is trying to overcome the various challenges facing capitalism (financial crisis, inequality, and poverty and so on).
