Call for papers CISMOR Young Scholars’ Workshop 2021-1

The Center for Interdisciplinary Study of Monotheistic Religions (CISMOR) will hold the first 2021 Young Scholars workshop on Saturday, May 15, 2021. This workshop will be held on the ZOOM platform.

We welcome submission of abstracts for participating in the workshop!

【Qualification requirement and conditions】
Qualification requirement:  
PhD/MA Students of Doshisha University
Presentations’ themes:
The themes/topics should relate to research on the Christian, Jewish or Islamic world. The specific research may regard textual, sociological, women’s study, as well as philosophical issues and more. The paper could have been previously read, or submitted for publication; it is recommended to be a research in progress.

Presentations will be for 20 minutes＋10 minutes Q&A (either in Japanese or in English).
The number of presentations accommodated on that day: up to eight.
Deadline of the Call for Papers: March 31, 2021 (Wednesday).
The result will be announced to the applicants in early April from CISMOR Office.
