Summary:
While only few Egyptian-Jews still live in Cairo, an unprecedented shift is developing in terms of the heritage of the Jewish community, its assets, and in general it’s public visibility.
This presentation introduces the fascinating rediscovery of a thousand-year-old Hebrew Biblical Manuscript rediscovered in 2017 in Cairo, and the current efforts aiming at preservation of Jewish heritage by Egyptians of various religions.
