2022年10月2日(日)、CISMORと同志社大学アメリカ研究所はセミナーを共催し、ニューヨーク大学教授のMarcia Pally氏にご講演いただきました。 ご講演のタイトルは、“White Evangelical Populism: Its Historical, Religious, and Political Development and Its Meaning for US Policy”（「白人の福音主義的ポピュリズム：その歴史的・宗教的・政治的展開および米国の政策における意味」）で、内容は、アメリカの白人福音主義者がポピュリスト右翼となった政治史、宗教的信条、現在の状況およびそれらの背景についてでした。また、ポピュリズムがどのように機能し、そしてそれがアメリカの福音主義者の間でどのように展開されてきたかについても論じられました。ご講演後は15名の参加者との間で充実した質疑応答が行われました。ご講演いただきましたPally氏に心より感謝申し上げます。 |
